zvo55 (pronunciation: "twelve five") is a German-speaking punk band from Leipzig and can be classified as a solo project by Peter Lorre, who writes all the songs for the band. Musically, zvo55 sensibly explores musical waters from US melody punk and hardcore to melancholic post-punk to indie and alternative influences. So far two albums and an EP have been released.
Besides zvo55, all members also play in other bands. Peter is a founding member of the BlumentoPferde and has been playing guitar at StaatsPunkrott since 2012 . Bruno sat on the drums with Loikaemie from 2011 until the dissolution in 2014 , while Sebastian works as bassist and co-songwriter with Möped .
