Tsvyatko Radoinov
Zwjatko Kolew Radoinow ( Bulgarian Цвятко Колев Радойнов ; born February 23, 1895 in Kran , † June 26, 1942 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian politician.
Life
Radoinov joined the Bulgarian Social Democratic Labor Party in 1912 . In 1923 he led a partisan detachment during the September uprising. After the failure of the uprising Radoinow emigrated to the Soviet Union . There he graduated from the Frunze Academy in 1929 , where he then worked as a teacher. In 1937/1938 he fought in the Spanish Civil War . After that he was a colonel in the Red Army . In 1941 he went back to Bulgaria illegally with the aim of organizing the armed struggle. He was a member of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party and headed the Central Military Commission of the Central Committee.
Radinov was arrested. After a death sentence, he was shot in 1942.
