Off to Oklahoma (French: Ruée sur l'Oklahoma ) is an album from the Lucky Luke comic series . It was drawn by Morris and written by René Goscinny and was first published in 1958. action

In 1830 the US government bought a reservation from the Indians for a mountain of jewelry and glass beads. So that every new settler has the same chance, the starting shot for the settlement is to be given on April 22nd, 1889 at 12 noon. First, Lucky Luke has to push back various early starters. When the settlers rushed off at 12 o'clock, the completely chaotically organized city "Boomtown" developed in a rush. Here Lucky Luke has to enforce a ban on weapons, gambling and alcohol. The first mayoral election is pending: As the numerous candidates fail to achieve a majority, the village idiot Dopey is unexpectedly elected mayor. Before there is a major uprising, a sandstorm wrecks the settlement and the settlers leave in a hurry. The now deserted area is sold again to the Indians for a string of glass beads.
