The miners' living museum is a museum in the Brambauer district of Lüner .

The museum is located in the new colliery colony of the former Minister Achenbach colliery . It was founded in 1994 as part of a complete renovation of the settlement. One half of a colliery house built in 1904/05 has been prepared according to the living conditions of a family of miners from around 1930 to 1935. The museum is sponsored by the Bergarbeiter-Wohnmuseum e. V. operated by the former Glückauf housing association (merged into VIVAWEST ). The Vivawest Foundation gGmbH is responsible for the museum . The first museum pieces came from a local antique dealer. In the period that followed, the inventory was extensively supplemented by the surrounding residents and by visitors from outside (kitchen appliances, furniture, decoration, etc.). The apartment itself is also up to date: pipes on plaster, whitewashed walls, red floorboards and an outhouse. The cellar and courtyard are set up for the optional catering of museum guests. Couples can also get married in the “parlor”.

The museum is part of the Route of Industrial Culture .
