Crescent Motors

The Crescent Motors Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in Birmingham . This company produced small cars under the name Crescent from 1913 to 1915 .

In 1913 a car with an air-cooled V2 engine was created, which had a displacement of 964 cm³ and developed an output of 8 bhp (5.9 kW). The wheelbase of the 3200 mm long and 1219 mm wide car was 2362 mm, its track width 965 mm. The vehicle weight was 356 kg and thus above the limit for cycle cars .

Shortly before the outbreak of World War I in 1914, the air-cooled engine was replaced by a water-cooled one with a displacement of 1095 cm³ and 9 bhp (6.6 kW). The Crescent was built in this form until 1915.
