The Dodson Motors Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire . The company was part of the David Brown & Sons Ltd. group . Mid-range cars were built there from 1910 to 1913 .

The Dodson 12/16 hp appeared in 1910 and had a four-cylinder in-line engine with 2.4 l displacement. Its wheelbase was 2769 mm. It was accompanied by the larger Dodson 20/30 hp with a displacement of 4.4 l. The wheelbase of this car was 3099 mm. Both models were powered by four-stroke engines and built until 1913.

In 1911 two models with two-cylinder two- stroke engines were added to the four-stroke engines : the Dodson 15 hp had a displacement of 2.55 l and the Dodson 25 hp even 3.9 l. The wheelbases were 2819 mm and 3200 mm respectively. Both two-stroke engines were only produced for one year. They came from the sister brand Valveless .

In 1914 this brand was no longer represented on the market.
