history

The vehicle was presented at the São Paulo International Motor Show in November 2016 and has been built in Tapukara in India and Sumaré in Brazil since spring 2017 . The WR-V was developed as the first Honda model by the Honda Research & Development Center in Brazil in collaboration with the Honda Research & Development Center in Japan on the basis of the Honda Fit . The abbreviation WR-V stands for W insome R unabout V ehicle .

A revised version of the WR-V was presented in March 2020.
