Administration
Shortly after Claudio Lembo became the governor of São Paulo the city underwent a frightening wave of criminal activity led by the Primeiro Comando da Capital, commonly known as PCC. The PCC targeted the city's police, killing as many as 30 policemen in less than a month. The police killed over 100 alleged members of the PCC.
The popularity of Claudio Lembo has crumbled as a result of the actions of the PCC and he has revealed that he is eager for the last day of his term as interim governor.
Claudio Lembo blamed the "white rich people" of São Paulo for the criminal uprising, claiming that they didn't do enough to help the poor inhabitants of São Paulo.
