União Ciclista de Vila do Conde is a Portuguese cycling team that is currently only under-23 and also races predominantly in cyclocross. The team was founded in 1998, at the time under the name ASC - Guilhabreu - Vila do Conde, and was professional between 2002 and 2007. However, the last two years as a professional team, 2006 and 2007, União Ciclista de Vila do Conde was associated with Vitória SC, of Guimarães, the team being Vitória-ASC.[1]
During the 2000s, it tried to assert itself with a road race professional cycling team, achieving European UCI Continental Tour status.
From 2008 until now, U.C. de Vila do Conde has continued to be associated with Vitória SC and only in under-23 road cycling, its most common name being ASC/Vitória/RTL.[2]
