WCT Tournament of Champions
The ATP Forest Hills is a defunct tennis tournament that was held on the ATP Tour from 1980-1989. It was held in Forest Hills, New York City, United States and was known as the Tournament of Champions (ToC). Before being held in Forest Hills, the ToC was held in Lakeway, Texas in 1977, Las Vegas, Nevada in 1978, and Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico in 1979.
The tournament commenced in early May each year, and was played on outdoor clay courts. Ivan Lendl won the event a record three times. The US achieved a consistent level of success at the event, with five of the ten tournaments won by Americans.
