ABC NSW
ABC New South Wales is a statewide television network, airing the programs of the national broadcaster, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
The main station is ABN-2 Sydney, with studios in the suburb of Ultimo and transmitter at Gore Hill. The station is transmitted throughout the state via a series of relay transmitters, and via satellite to areas that cannot receive normal terrestrial television signals.
The schedule is similar to the national schedule, with the exception of some sports programming (mainly Sydney rugby union) and occasionally, election programming.
The 7.00pm news bulletin is presented by Juanita Phillips (weekdays), Mike Bailey (weather), and Felcity Davey (weekends), while Stateline is presented by Quentin Dempster.
Nature presenter Richard Morecroft was the news presenter during the 1980s and early to mid 1990s.
