Royal records was the Los Angeles, California record label run by James king and Clive Davis in 1982 half of royal records went to arista records until 2000 when 40% went to j records royal records signed many artist like cee lo green,prince,jj Jackson,the beastie boys etc... royal records declined in may of 2015 and changed to b.b records in honor of b.b king
