history
The album was made in 1993/94 and was recorded again with co-producer Mario Caldato Jr. There were musical collaborations with Mark Ramos Nishita alias Money Mark, Eric Bobo , Wendell Timothy Fite alias DJ Hurricane and Amery “AWOL” Smith. Q-Tip and Biz Markie contributed additional rap tracks. It was the Beastie Boys' second album to reach # 1 on the Billboard 200 . Part of the responsibility for this was the great success of the single Sabotage .
