Being Human is a 1993 film starring Robin Williams.

The film portrays the experience of a single human soul (portrayed by Williams) through various incarnations. Williams is the only common actor throughout the stories that span man's history on the earth.

The film was written and directed by Bill Forsyth for David Puttnam while he was in control of Columbia Studios in 1989. When Putnam was ousted Being Human was pulled from the distribution schedule and was given a limited release in 1993. Being Human was Ewan McGregor's screen debut.
