The former Hannibal–LaGrange College is a private Christian college located in Hannibal, Missouri. The college is affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention, which is part of the Southern Baptist Convention. History

Hannibal-LaGrange University is the result of the 1928 merger of LaGrange College (founded in 1858 as the LaGrange Male and Female College) in LaGrange, Missouri and Hannibal College in Hannibal.[2] On February 12, 1995, Dr. Woodrow Burt was elected the 16th president of the college. Among the former presidents is the Southern Baptist leader Dr. Larry Lewis, a graduate of Luther Rice Seminary who left HLG to be the president of the Southern Baptist Convention's Home Mission Board, now called the North American Mission Board, one of the largest mission agencies in the world.
