Born in Verona 2 July 1980, he has lived in Trieste since childhood. He completed high school in Galilei and graduated from college with a diploma in Communication Sciences. After that follows a Master's degree in Management and communication analysis. He is currently a freelancer and is involved in consulting on marketing and communication. He was art director at Labidea (an advertising agency in Trieste), an analyst at H-Art (a web agency of Treviso) and head of marketing at the Cybertec of Trieste.<ref>http://www.camera.it/leg17/29?shadow_deputato=302983&idLegislatura=17</ref>

He joined very young, just fifteen years old, the Northern League (1995), and three years later he was appointed Secretary of young Po for the province of Trieste, a position he held until 2000. He then became a member of the National Council, or the 'decision-making body of the party in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia (the league splits in fact the area in as many "nations") and then the Federal Council (ie the middle one, based in Milan).
He joined the Northern League in 1995. Subsequently, he became a member of the "National Council", the decision-making body of the party in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and then of the Federal Council. Since 2003 he has been provincial secretary of the League, while on 28 September 2014 he was elected national secretary of the party of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.


He was elected MP for the first time in 2008; he was then re-elected in 2013 and 2018.
He was elected provincial secretary in 2003, a position he still holds. In the same year he was appointed by the Regional Board of Directors of the Regional for the Right to Education (ERDISU) at the University of Trieste, where he had already been elected student representative to the University Senate.


In 2011 Fedriga was candidate for mayor of Trieste, but obtained only 6.3% of the votes.
Since 2006 he has served as a director of AcegasAps Spa, but resigned because of supervening incompatibility of office following his election as deputy to the last election. A Montecitorio is the parent company for the Northern League XI Standing Committee (which deals with employment and social policies) and is part of the Commission's control over the management bodies and from 9 January 2012 is deputy leader of the Northern League in the House .


In 2018 Fedriga was elected President of Friuli-Venezia Giulia with 57.1% of preferences.
For the Italian administrative elections of 2011 Fedriga was candidate for the Northern League for the office of Mayor of Trieste after the party rejected the apparentamento with the PDL in the first round by getting 6.3% of the vote.

Since 2 May 2012 he has been Chairman of the Labour Committee of the Parliament of North succeeding Rosy Mauro who was expelled from the party.


In 2023 Fedriga won [[2023_Friuli-Venezia_Giulia_regional_election|re-election]] with 64.2% of preferences.
From 19 March 2013 he has been deputy board member of the group of the Northern League in the Chamber of Deputies with the delegation of the classroom.

On 8 July 2014 he was appointed for the first time the leader of the party in the House of Deputies.

Furthermore Fedriga is a frequent political commentator on Italian political talk shows and one of the most prominent members of the party.

Massimiliano Fedriga (born 2 July 1980) is an Italian Northern League politician. He is the president of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia autonomous region.[1]
