(12553) Knight of Aaron is an asteroid discovered on August 17, 1998 by the Lincoln Laboratory ETS in Socorro .
The asteroid was named on July 24, 2002 after Aaron M. Ritter (* 1986), a student at Bedford-North Lawrence High School in Williams, Indiana, for his finals at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair .
