(2175) Andrea Doria is an asteroid of the main belt , which the Swiss astronomers on October 12, 1977 Paul Wild , from zimmerwald observatory of the University of Bern was made, discovered.

The asteroid is named after the Genoese admiral and prince Andrea Doria .
