(3468) Urgenta is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on January 7, 1975 by the Swiss astronomer Paul Wild from the Zimmerwald Observatory at the University of Bern .
The asteroid is named after the potato variety of the same name, alluding to the likely shape of the object .
