Ágnes Őze-Sipka

Ágnes Őze-Sipka , born Ágnes Sipka , (born August 14, 1954 ) is a former Hungarian athlete .

The long-distance runner was national marathon champion three times (1981, 1985 and 1989).

In 1983 she was fifth in the Enschede Marathon in 2:39:38 h. The following year she won the Berlin Marathon in 2:39:32, and in 1985 she was third in 2:35:27. On October 26th, 1986 she won a marathon in Budapest and was the first Hungarian woman to stay under two and a half hours with 2:28:51. In 1987 she was seventh in the Osaka Women's Marathon and the London Marathon and seventh in the New York City Marathon .

On October 16, 1988, she set two national records in a race in Székesfehérvár , of which the latter still holds: in the hour run with 16,991 meters and in the 20,000 meter track run with 1:10 : 56.6 hours.
