Álvaro do Nascimento

Álvaro do Nascimento M. dos Reis , fighting name Sesurai , is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the Partido Democrático (PD) and president of the party in the municipality of Cova Lima (as of July 2011).

During the UN administration of East Timor , Nascimento became a member of the Advisory Council in Cova Lima on July 31, 2000. In February 2001 he received along with Adriano do Nascimento training in leadership and local administration in Suais Australian sister city Port Phillip .

In 2009, Álvaro do Nascimento replaced Gabriel Ximenes , who died on July 17, as a member of the East Timorese National Parliament . Here he was a member of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security (Commission B).

However, Nascimento resigned from parliament in November 2010.

For his fight against the Indonesian occupation, Nascimento received the order of Nicolau Lobato .
