Äbdilda Täschibajew ( Kazakh Әбділда Тәжібаев , Russian Абдильда Тажибаев Abdilda Taschibajew * January 22 . Jul / 4. February  1909 greg. In Perowsk , Russian Empire , † 1998 ) was a Kazakh - Soviet writer.

Life

Taschibajew was born in Perovsk . His father died already in 1915 and his mother moved with her only son to a remote steppe village, where he grew up in his grandfather's family. His mother taught him to write. From 1923 he lived in boarding school; he also attended a school in Schymkent . During his school days he became interested in literature, he read newspapers and magazines in which articles by Säken Seifullin , Säbit Muqanow and other well-known writers of those years were published. During this time he also wrote his first own works, for example his first poem appeared in a regional newspaper in 1927.

From 1926 to 1928 he worked for the newspaper Jengbekschil qasaq . In 1932 he became the deputy editor of a newspaper in Karsakpai and a little later deputy editor of the Leninschil schas newspaper, an organ of the Komsomol regional committee . In 1938 his first drama appeared , which he had written in collaboration with Muchtar Äuesow and which was later awarded a prize. From 1934 to 1939 he was secretary of the Writers' Union of the Kazakh SSR and then until 1943 its chairman. In 1943 he wrote the text of the hymn of the Kazakh SSR together with Qajym Muchamedchanow and Ghabit Müssirepow as part of a competition. In 1946 he graduated from the Literary Faculty of the Kirov Kazakh State University . Between 1945 and 1948 he worked at the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR . In the following years Taschibayev devoted himself entirely to writing before he went to Moscow in the mid-1950s . There he completed courses at the Maxim Gorki Literature Institute .

On his return from Moscow he was editor-in-chief of the newspaper Qasaq ädebijeti from 1958 to 1960. In the following years he was again active as secretary of the Writers' Union and from 1960 worked again at the Institute for Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. As a public figure, he was elected to the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR in 1963.

In 1985 he was awarded the honorary title “Folk Writer of the Kazakh SSR”.

Taschibayev died in 1998.
