Ängi [ (id̥) ˈæŋ̩ˑi ] is the name of a corridor surrounded by forest and with several farms in the rearmost Kurzenbach . It includes the Upper and Lower Ängi as well as the Ängiboden, which is located slightly below and separated by a strip of forest . In the southeast it hugs the Balmegg , in the west it is bordered by the Horbengraben and the Rämisgummenhoger .

The Ängi is documented for the first time in 1531 (zů the other värrich uff die flů and the Engÿ ) , the Ängiboden 1670 (the weidt stst an Enge booden ) .
