The Åbyälven is a river in the Swedish provinces of Norrbottens län and Västerbottens län .

The 165 km long river with headwaters has its origin in the lake Östra Kikkejaure . From there it flows in a south-easterly direction to the Gulf of Bothnia . It runs parallel to the south flowing Byskeälven . Its source river is the Granträskån . The catchment area covers 1343.9 km². The largest tributary is the Klubbälven .
