Åke Larsson

Nils Åke Birger Larsson (* September 7, 1931 - April 23, 2017 ) was a Swedish football player .

Athletic career

Larsson came in 1952 by BK kick for Malmo FF . First as a full-back used it inherited in the summer of 1954, the former team captain Sven Hjertsson , who finished his career as a central defender . In the seasons 1955/56 and seasons 1956/57 he reached the best placings with the team when they were runner-up behind IFK Norrköping . By the end of his career in 1959, he played 207 games for Malmö FF.

In spring 2017, Larsson died after a long illness at the age of 85.
