Erik Åke Lassas (born August 21, 1924 in Leksand ; † April 16, 2009 there ) was a Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
At club level, Åke Lassas played exclusively for his hometown club Leksands IF . From 1948 to 1963 he entered with his team in Division 1 , the then highest Swedish league, and the second division Division 2 . In 1956 he was the first player to receive the guldpucken as player of the year in Sweden. His jersey number 2 has been banned by Leksands IF and is no longer given to other players.
International
For Sweden , Lassas took part in the Winter Olympics in Oslo in 1952 and in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956 . At the 1952 Winter Games, he and his team won the bronze medal. As the best European team, Sweden also became European champions. He was also in his country's squad at the 1954 World Cup , where he and his team also won the bronze medal.
