Çetin İpekkaya
Çetin İpekkaya (born April 15, 1937 in Diyarbakır ; † April 23, 2016 in Berlin ) was a German - Turkish theater director , author and actor .
life and career
At the end of the 1980s Ipekkaya was the general manager and director of the Tiyatrom migrant theater in West Berlin . Since 2000 he has appeared in numerous television series, including Lindenstrasse . In 2012 he also appeared as an author in the German-speaking theater business when he wrote the libretto for Taner Akyol's children's opera Ali Baba and the 40 Robbers . The successful production for the Komische Oper Berlin was also released as a book / CD combination.
