Çetin Güngör (born June 7, 1990 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Altay Izmir .
Career
Galatasaray
Çetin Güngör began club football in the youth of his home club Beşyüzevler Spor . There he was discovered by the scouts of Galatasaray Istanbul , and so he moved to the youth department of Galatasaray in 2005. In 2009 he received a professional contract from his club, but initially played mostly for the second team. During the season he was given the opportunity to train with the professional team. In some professional games he was even taken on as a reserve player in the team squad. So by the end of the season he made one UEFA Europa League appearance and two cup appearances for the professional team.
Şanlıurfaspor
In the new 2010/11 season he was loaned to the third division club Şanlıurfaspor at the beginning of the season. There he became a regular player straight away and made 22 games by the end of the season.
Gaziantepspor
At the end of the season, his contract with Galatasaray expired, after which Güngör moved to the first division club Gaziantepspor free of charge . Here he only came to nine appearances for the professional team and plays more for the reserve team.
Çaykur Rizespor
At the end of the season, his contract with Gaziantepspor ran out, after which Güngör moved to the new second division side Adana Demirspor free of charge .
This change to Adana Demirspor did not materialize later and so Güngör moved to the second division club Çaykur Rizespor . In the 2012/13 season he was runner-up with the club and thus rose to the Süper Lig .
Adanaspor
For the new season he moved to Adanaspor within the 1st Lig . Shortly before the start of the season, the contract was terminated.
Altay Izmir
For the 2013/14 season he was hired by the third division Altay Izmir .
National team
Çetin Güngör went through the Turkish U-18, U-19 and the U-20 junior national teams over the years. In 2009 he took part in the U-19 European Football Championship with the Turkish U-19s . Here they were eliminated from the tournament in the group stage.
