Élisabeth Filhol (born May 1, 1965 in Mende , Lozère department , France ) is a French economist and novelist.

Life

Filhol studied economics at the University of Paris-Dauphine and today (2011) works in the areas of annual financial statements , financial accounting , financial analysis and advises companies on works councils (French: comités d'entreprises). Her first work in 2010 was the novel La Centrale , which deals with the subject of temporary workers in the French nuclear industry . The basis was her observations at the Chinon nuclear power plant in the Indre-et-Loire department and the Blayais nuclear power plant in Blaye in the Gironde department .

Filhol lives in Angers , Maine-et-Loire.
