Émile Blémont
Léon-Émile Blémont (born July 17, 1839 in Paris , † February 2, 1927 there ) was a French poet, playwright and translator.
Life
Together with Léon Dierx , José-Maria de Heredia and Sully Prudhomme , Blémont founded the Société des poètes français in Paris in 1902 , which saw contemporary literary criticism as an independent association and which as a whole was one of the Parnassians . Alphonse Lemerre then also included works from all members of this group in the later famous anthology Le Parnasse contemporain .
