Émile Leon Jacques Dupont (born June 8, 1887 in Liège , † March 18, 1959 ibid) was a Belgian sports shooter .
successes
Émile Dupont took part in the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 and in Paris in a trap in 1924 . He finished the team competition in 1920 with the Belgian team in second place, with 503 points the Belgians were 44 points behind the first-placed Americans. In addition to Dupont, the team also included Albert Bosquet , Joseph Cogels , Henri Quersin , Edouard Fesinger and Louis Van Tilt . He finished the individual competition in ninth place. In 1924 he missed another medal win with the team as fourth, while he did not finish the individual competition.
In October 1911 he married the tennis player Marthe Dupont-Trasenster , who also took part in the Olympic Games in her sport in 1920 and 1924.
