Eric Demarsan

Éric Demarsan (born October 2, 1938 in Paris ) is a French composer . He made a name for himself above all as a music composer for film and television productions.

Life

After working for Michel Magne, he landed his first major successes in 1969 with Jean-Pierre Melville's Army in the Shadow and Four in the Red Circle . He then worked on major productions with Jean-Pierre Mocky , Costa-Gavras and Patrice Leconte, among others .

In addition, Éric Demarsan composed some songs and albums under the pseudonym Jason Havelock , such as the "Pop Symphony Album". Since 2000 he has worked regularly with directors Guillaume Nicloux and Hervé Hadmar .
