Clifford Compton (born November 2, 1979 in Nassau County , Long Island , New York ) is an American wrestler . He became known through his time at World Wrestling Entertainment , where he worked under the ring name Domino . He currently competes in the former WWE Farm League Ohio Valley Wrestling .

Career

Beginnings

Compton got his start in wrestling with a few smaller independent promotions and the National Wrestling Alliance . So he stepped z. B. World Xtreme Wrestling (WXW) or the NWA Wildside . In the WXW, he and Jake Bishop formed the tag team The Double Threat , with which he was allowed to win the WXW Tag Team Championship .

World Wrestling Entertainment

From 2005 Compton appeared in the WWE Development League Ohio Valley Wrestling . Here the team with Deuce was able to win the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship , which they won two more times.

In 2006 Compton appeared with Deuce at Deep South Wrestling . There they were allowed to win the local DSW Tag Team Championship , which they had to give up a little later.

In January 2007 Compton and Deuce made their debut as Deuce N 'Domino on SmackDown! . In a feud against Paul London and Brian Kendrick they were allowed to win the WWE Tag Team Championship on April 17, 2007 . On August 28, 2007, they had to surrender the title to Matt Hardy and MVP .

On June 20, 2008, the Tag Team Deuce N 'Domino was dissolved before Compton was released on August 8, 2008 in the wake of a wave of layoffs by the WWE.
