The Étienne Fjord ( French Baie Étienne ) is a fjord-like bay on the south side of the Bay of Flanders on the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the north side of the base of the Kiev Peninsula , it lies between Bolsón Cove and Thomson Cove .
The mapping of the bay goes back to participants in the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903–1905) by polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot . He named it after the French politician Eugène Étienne (1844–1921), Vice President of the Chambre des députés from 1902 to 1904 and Minister of War of France from 1905 to 1906.
