Étoile you football
The Étoile du football ( Dutch Voetbal Ster ) was an award that was given to the most outstanding female soccer player in Belgium from 2005 to 2009 . The award was comparable to the Belgian Golden Shoe , which has been awarded every year since 1954 to the most outstanding player in the top Belgian football league in men's football . After a few years without a prestigious award, the Sparkle was launched in 2015 and the Belgian Golden Shoe in women's football in 2017 .
In addition to the Étoile du football , there was also a second award called Petite Étoile du football , which, also from 2005 to 2009, was given to the best player in the second highest Belgian women's football league.
