Jana Coryn (born June 26, 1992 in Waregem ) is a Belgian soccer player . She is currently in the service of Lille OSC in France and is also an international for Belgium.

Club career

Jana Coryn played for Damesvoetbal (DaVo) Waregem from the age of ten until she came of age . In 2009 she was awarded the Petite Étoile du football ("Little Star of Football") as a promising young player . In the adult area, the attacker initially remained true to her hometown and wore the SV Zulte Waregem dress from 2010 to 2012 , alongside Tessa Wullaert , among others . However, her career there was interrupted by a protracted knee injury. A season at RSC Anderlecht followed, with which she competed in the transnational BeNe League . With the capital city she won her first title in the Belgian Cup competition (Beker van België) in 2013 . As Anderlecht withdrew from the BeNe-League the following season, Coryn moved to Club Bruges for two years and played for Lierse SK in 2015/16 , with whom she was again the national cup winner and also top scorer in the Super League . In addition to sport, Coryn obtained her master's degree from the literary and philosophical faculty of Ghent University in 2016 with a French-language thesis on "The different images of women in the fairy tales of Perrault and the Brothers Grimm".

From Lierse SK, the ambitious second division partner Lille OSC brought her to the other side of the Belgian-French border, and Jana Coryn was instrumental in ensuring that LOSC 2017 for the first time with 24 goals - which also earned her the league's top scorer's crown his club's history rose to Division 1 Féminine . From 2007 to 2009 Jana Coryn stormed in 13 games for the Belgian U-17 team, in which she scored seven goals. Between 2009 and 2011, she was then used in 19 matches of the U-19s of Belgium, where you also get seven hits.

In November 2011 she made her debut with a brief appearance against Bulgaria in the senior national team ("Red Flames", also known as "Red Flames"), but she has only been appointed regularly since 2016 - and even then she often only played the role of a supplementary player . At the 2017 European Championships in the Netherlands , she was part of the Belgian squad and was used in all three group matches, but was not in the starting line-up in any of the matches.
