Ödhäusl is a hamlet in the district of Dingolfing-Landau in the administrative district of Lower Bavaria . It belongs to the town of Dingolfing , Frauenbiburg district . On the official map from 1866 only one building with the name Ederhäusel is shown here .

Ödhäusl, 500 meters southwest of the parish village of Brunn, originally comprised only one farm, later two or three. In recent times the population has grown and new residential buildings have also been built, so that the agricultural character of the place took a back seat. The rural character was retained. Ödhäusl has around 30 residents. There are seven residential buildings with the house numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 12 and 14 at the street address Ödhäusl in 84130 Dingolfing. The original Ederhäusel property was at number 12 today.

The Heimlichleiden pilgrimage chapel is located around 500 meters south of Ödhäusl, as is the Schermauer Holz . The way of the cross to the chapel ends near the municipal road to Oberteisbach, which was only paved in the 1960s as part of the land consolidation .

The road to Ödhäusl is often used as a hiking opportunity for residents of the new development areas Brunnerfeld I and II, which are only around 1 to 2 km away. The route is also very popular with Nordic walking enthusiasts.

Ödhäusl is not an officially named part of the municipality, but is subsumed under the neighboring village of Brunn. It is not recorded in any of the local directories published by the Bavarian State Statistical Office since 1875, but only in the Bavarian local directory from 1867. However, it is listed as a street in the street directory of Dingolfing.
