Ömer Ertan Kanca (born December 24, 1989 in Munich ) is a Turkish football player . From 2009 to 2012 the striker was under contract with third division club SpVgg Unterhaching .
Career
Kanca began his career at SV Lohhof and from 2003 played in the youth team at SpVgg Unterhaching . In the 2007/08 season he made his first appearances for the second team of SpVgg in the then fourth-class Bayernliga . In addition, the striker was promoted to the Bundesliga with the A-youth team and participated in the success with 37 goals. In the following season, Kanca was part of the squad of Unterhaching II and ran 19 times in the Regionalliga Süd , where he scored one goal. During the 2009/10 season, Kanca was promoted to the first team and used on the 5th matchday for the first time in the 3rd division when he was substituted on against VfL Osnabrück in the final minute. The striker scored his first goal in a professional league on matchday 10 in a 3-1 defeat at SV Werder Bremen II.
After Kanca had hardly played under coach Klaus Augenthaler in the 2010/11 season , Haching's new coach Heiko Herrlich relied more heavily on him again in the following season: In the 2011/12 season, Kanca played 26 times for Unterhaching, mostly on the Outside tracks or as a hanging tip. In the summer of 2012, his expiring contract with the game association was not extended. In total, Kanca played 46 third division games for Spielvereinigung Unterhaching, scoring four goals.
After a long time without a club, Kanca joined the Türkgücü Munich club in April 2014 . In the summer of 2015, Bayern league club FC Pipinsried signed him as a player-coach. After eight match days, however, the club's management ended the engagement. and Kanca switched to league rivals SV Pullach as a player . In the winter of 2016/17 Kanca moved to the relegation- threatened SC Oberweikertshofen in the Landesliga Südwest and managed to stay up with his team.
