Numuyel (spelling variant: Numuyall ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 3994 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 3120.
geography
Numuyel is on the south bank of the Gambia River in the Upper River Region , District Fulladu East . The place is about 3.5 kilometers southeast of Sotuma Sere , on the South Bank Road . A road to Numuyel branches off one kilometer northeast to the south. Another four kilometers to the south lies the town of Gambissara on the border with Senegal .
