Özlem Cetin
Özlem Cetin , also known as Özlem , is a Turkish singer , songwriter and actress from Germany . She sings in English . Her style is house .
Her first release on a major label was Perfect Love (1997) as part of the duo House of Prince Feat. Oezlem together with Gerret Frerichs ( Humate ), at Universal . The song, also produced by Frerichs, was remixed by well-known DJs and reached the top spot on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play charts in 1998 .
In the German feature film Kanak Attack , Cetin was seen in the role of the prostitute Yonca in 2000.
In 2001 she worked (also as a writer) on three tracks on Tiefschwarz's debut album . In 2002 the maxi CD Never was released by Sony Music and in 2004 her first own album Slap That Bitch with DJ Thomilla .
Most recently, the artist of electronic music, who also composes herself (e.g. ICU together with Tyree Cooper on Jack'd Volume 1 ) was heard as a guest musician on Karma's album Latenight Daydreaming (2007) .
