Øystein Wiik

Øystein Wiik (born July 7, 1956 in Ås near Oslo ) is a Norwegian actor , musical performer , songwriter and writer .

Life

Wiik worked for the Nationale Scene , the Oslo Nye Teater and Det Norske Teatret and played leading roles in several musicals .

For the 10th anniversary of Les Misérables 1995 he also performed.

His CD albums include Too many mornings (1991) and Stage (1993). In 2010 he published the crime thriller Dødelig applaus .

Øystein has also written several musical libretti , for example for the Norwegian musical comedy Optimist , which is based on songs by Jahn Teigen . It will be premiered on September 12, 2019 at Chateau Neuf in Oslo.

Øystein Wiik is married to the Norwegian actress Inger Schjoldager (* 1963).
