The Červený potok (German Luckwasser , on the upper reaches of the elder stream ) is a right tributary of the Černý potok in the Czech Republic and at the same time its largest tributary.

The Červený potok rises northeast of the Sokolí vrch ( Falkenberg , 967 m) on the Nesselkoppenkamm ( Sokolský hřbet ) in the Reichensteiner Mountains . Its source is located in the ground between the Bezový vrch ( root mountain , 685 m) and the Klen ( elderberry tip , 777 m). Its course leads north; between the Bukový vrch ( Buchberg , 426 m) and U Krmelce ( Abbichberg , 446 m) the brook reaches the Friedeberger Bergland (Žulovská pahorkatina). The villages Nová Červená Voda and Stará Červená Voda extend along the Červený potok . Before Dolní Červená Voda , the brook turns sharply to the west between Ovčí vrch (300 m) and Stromovka (318 m) and follows the course of a small tributary. A little later, after 11.3 kilometers in the Fasaneriewald, the stream flows into the Černý potok . Its catchment area covers 29.69 km². The average flow rate at the mouth of the Červený potok is 0.332 m³ / s.
