Čičinai is a village with 319 inhabitants (2011). It is located in the district of Jonava , in the district of Kulva , 27 km from the second largest Lithuanian city Kaunas , 27 km from Kėdainiai , 6 km west of Jonava , 4 km south of Kulva , on the right bank of the Neris . It is the center of the Čičinai sub-district. Os Kulva begins at Čičinai . Around the village are Naujasodis I (1.9 km), Dijokiškiai (3.1 km), Kurmagala (2.5 km), Pabartoniai (1.9 km), Mardošiškiai (2.6 km), Pakapė (4, 2 km).
history
Čičinai was a village of Wolost Jonava and then of Jonava Rajon in Soviet Lithuania . In 1921 a primary school was founded. In 1966 a house of culture, a library and a medicine point were built. From 1950 to 1963 Čičinai was the center of a Soviet collective farm .
