Ľuboš Pisár (born February 4, 1981 in Bojnice , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Herning Blue Fox in the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen since 2010 .

Career

Ľuboš Pisár began his ice hockey career at MHC Martin , where he had already played in the youth teams. From 1998 to 2003 he played for the club for four years in the Slovak extra league and one year in the second-rate first division . The greatest success during this time was the direct rise again in 2000. For the 2003/04 season Pisar moved to the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen for the first time and was runner-up with AaB Ishockey . From 2004 to 2009 the left catcher guarded the gate of the Frederikshavn White Hawks . In the 2004/05 season he won the bronze medal with the team. Three years later, Pisar led the Hawks to the final of the play-offs , where they were subject to the Herning Blue Fox . In the 2009/10 season Pisar moved to Sweden, where he was active at the beginning of the season for Lindlövens IF in Division 1, the third highest division. After only four games, he signed a contract with the second division promoted Örebro HK and achieved relegation with the team in the HockeyAllsvenskan .

In the summer of 2010 Pisár returned to Denmark and joined the Herning Blue Fox , with whom he won his first championship title in the first year. Due to the good performance - Pisar achieved a catch rate of 93.2% in the preliminary round and an average of 1.63 goals per game in the play-offs - the club extended his contract until 2012. In the 2011/12 season he defended with the Blue Fox the championship title and was also elected to the All-Star Team of the season.

International

Ľuboš Pisár played in several youth and junior teams for his home country. He represented his home country at the U20 World Junior Championship in 2001 , where he played in three games and reached eighth place with the team. To date this has been his only tournament appearance for Slovakia.
