The Narew Valley Landscape Protection Park (Łomżyński Park Krajobrazowy Doliny Narwi) is a nature reserve in the Landscape Protection Park category in the Podlaskie Voivodeship , Poland . The sanctuary is named after the Narew River and the city of Łomża , the seat of the Powiat and a rural community of the same name.
The park is located in the Łomżyński powiat on the territory of the rural municipalities of Łomża , Piątnica and Wizna . The buffer zone also extends to the territory of the municipality of Rutki in the powiat Zambrowski . The park was founded on December 10, 1994 and today has an area of 73.7 km² and a buffer zone of 122.3 km².
The protected area stretches east of the city of Łomża and in the core zone comprises an approximately 16 km long breakthrough of the Narew through a moraine landscape . There are two nature reserves and three other ecological protected areas in the park. A nature museum has been set up in Drozdowo .
Further to the east, to the source of the Narew, is the Narew National Park (Narwiański Park Narodowy).
