Victor Enok Nelsson (born October 14, 1998 in Hornbæk ) is a Danish football player . He plays for the Danish first division club FC Copenhagen and is a member of the Danish junior national teams .
Career
society
Nelsson grew up in Hornbæk and joined the local association Hornbæk IF at the age of four . He later moved to the youth academy of the partner club FC Nordsjælland and played in the men's division for the first time on September 12, 2016 in the 3-1 away defeat on the eighth match day of the Superliga season 2016/17 against Aarhus GF . On his 18th birthday, Nelsson received a professional contract that runs until 2020. This season he came to a use in the Danish Cup competition and 16 appearances in the preliminary round of the Superliga, in which FC Nordsjælland finished sixth in the table. In the following "championship round" Nelsson did not get past fifth place with the club based in Farum . In the following season , FC Nordsjælland came third in the regular season as well as in the championship round and thus qualified for the first qualifying round for the UEFA Europa League . There the club prevailed against Cliftonville FC and in the second qualifying round FC Nordsjælland threw AIK Solna out, before FC Nordsjælland were eliminated in the third qualifying round against FK Partizan Belgrade . In the meantime, Victor Nelsson had become a regular player and in the 2018/19 season he missed participating in the international competition again with his club after finishing only sixth and last place in the championship round.
In July 2019 he moved to FC Copenhagen and signed a contract that runs until 2024.
National team
Nelsson came to a use for the Danish U-18 national team and eight for the U-19 . On August 31, 2017, he made his debut for the Danish U-21 national team in a 3-0 victory in the European Championship qualifier in Torshavn against the Faroe Islands .
