José Carlos Gonçalves Rodrigues for short Zeca (born August 31, 1988 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player . He has also been a Greek citizen since March 2017 .

Career

Zeca, who plays as a right-footer in the right attacking midfield, began his career in 1998 at the youth club of Casa Pia AC from Lisbon. In 2007 he received a professional contract and moved to the men's department of the club where he was under contract for three years. 2010 Zeca moved to the first Portuguese league to Vitória Setúbal . From 2011 to 2017 he played for the Greek first division club Panathinaikos Athens , where he celebrated the cup win in 2014 and made his debut in the European Cup.

In 2017, Zeca signed a four-year contract with FC Copenhagen and has since played regularly in the Greek national team . On September 3, 2017, he scored his only goal to date in the home game of the 2018 World Cup qualification against Belgium (1: 2).
