Zeferino Zeca Martins

Zeferino Zeca Martins SVD (born March 8, 1966 in Cacolo , Angola ) is an Angolan religious and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Huambo .

Life

Zeferino Zeca Martins joined the religious order of Steyler Missionaries , made perpetual vows on October 1, 1994 and was ordained a priest on August 6, 1995 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 19, 2012 titular bishop of Tanaramusa and auxiliary bishop in Luanda . The Archbishop of Luanda, Damião António Franklin , consecrated him bishop on August 12 of the same year; Co- consecrators were José Manuel Imbamba , Archbishop of Saurimo , and António Francisco Jaca SVD, Bishop of Caxito .

On October 1, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Huambo. The inauguration took place on December 16 of the same year.
