The Bistum Caxito ( lat. : Dioecesis Caxitonsis ) is in Angola preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Caxito . It includes the municipalities in the Bengo province : Caxito, Ambros, Bula Atumba, Dande, Dembos, Nambuangongo, Pango-Aluquém, Cacuaco and Kikolo.

history

Pope Benedict XVI founded it on June 6, 2007 from cession of territory by the Archdiocese of Luanda , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
