Michael Santos , full name Michael Nicolás Santos Rosadilla , (born March 13, 1993 in Pando ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.75-meter-tall offensive player Santos has been in the squad of Uruguayan first division team River Plate Montevideo since at least the 2010/11 season . That season he played one game (no goal) in the Primera División . In the following seasons 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/14, Santos saw a total of 38 additional league appearances with nine personal goals (2011/12: 8 games / 1 goal; 2012/13: 8/1; 2013/14: 22 7) performed at River Plate Montevideo. He also played four games in the 2013 Copa Sudamericana . He met twice. In the 2014/15 season he was used 29 times (21 goals) in the Primera División and three times (three goals) in the 2014 Copa Sudamericana . During the 2015/16 season he scored eleven times in 23 first division appearances. In addition, he has four goals in seven games of the Copa Libertadores 2016 . At the beginning of July 2016 he moved to Málaga FC and signed a four-year contract. With the Spaniards, he was used in 14 league games (three goals) and twice (one goal) in the Copa del Rey in the 2016/17 season . In August 2017, his upcoming loan move to the second division Sporting Gijón was announced.
National team
Santos cannot have any international appearances in the various age groups of the junior teams. On May 19, 2015, however, he was initially nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional squad of the U-22s at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . After all, he was on the final squad and won the tournament with the Celeste.
On September 8, 2015 he made his debut under Óscar Tabárez in the 0-1 friendly defeat against the national team of Costa Rica in the senior team , when he came on in the 61st minute for Jonathan Rodríguez . He has played two full international matches (no goal) so far. His last assignment for the time being is dated November 12, 2015.
